Your responsibilities: Lead High-Impact Infrastructure Projects Manage full project lifecycles for complex initiatives like cloud migrations, architecture upgrades, and security enhancements, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and regulatory standards. Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as the point of coordination between IT operations, technical teams, and program stakeholders, facilitating clear communication, efficient problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Champion Risk and Change Management Proactively identify and mitigate risks, lead change management efforts, and deliver actionable insights through metrics and reporting that keep stakeholders informed and engaged.

Project Management Develop and implement project management methodologies to ensure project success. Manage project lifecycles, including scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Communicate project progress, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.IT Infrastructure Focus Oversee infrastructure projects, such as architecture modernizations, product upgrades, cloud migration, and IT security enhancements. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in all projects.Team Collaboration Facilitate collaboration between IT operations, program managers, stakeholders, and technical teams. Lead project meetings, resolve challenges, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Risk and Change Management Identify potential risks, develop mitigation plans, and address issues impacting project objectives. Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new infrastructure solutions.Reporting and Metrics Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and present progress to stakeholders.Performs related work as assignedMaintains relevant knowledge necessary to perform essential job functionsAttends work regularly in compliance with agreed-upon work schedule. Qualifications: Project Manager III:Education: Graduation from high school or equivalentExperience: Six years of experience working in project management, IT infrastructure, system integration, or related fields; may substitute credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.Experience with cloud identity, cloud infrastructure, and IT operations.Experience with project tracking tools such as Jira or equivalent platforms.Skill in effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver clear, concise updates to technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrated ability in risk management, prioritization, decision-making, and managing budgets, timelines, and deliverables for complex IT projects.Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, cross-functional environment.Ability to work in person at a designated work location as needed and in compliance with the FLSA requirements.Ability to arrange for personal transportation for business-related travel and willingness to travel (including overnight travel) up to 5% Ability to lift and relocate items up to 10 lbs.Project Manager IV All of the above minimum qualifications for a Program Manager III, PLUS:Experience: Two additional years of experience working in project management, IT infrastructure, system integration, or related fields; may substitute credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.Familiarity with Texas Child Support technology systems and infrastructure.Proven track record with IT modernization initiatives, including cloud adoption and infrastructure migrations.Knowledge of cloud identity management solutions and best practices.Experience working with Texas state government agencies, particularly in multi-agency collaborative environments.
